The Bennett Family

The Picture Page - July 2008

Our life in snapshots. These pictures are mostly of Lorelei. Nothing before July is included, especially since July had almost 100 pictures without help from other months. Hopefully this will help keep the family satisfied until the next camera download session... To see our favorites in a slightly larger size, check out the home page.

The house we lived in when we brought Lorelei home from the hospital.

Joey playing with Lorelei. One of her favorite games is to practice standing, falling, and getting back up again. And of course, there are always plenty of kisses at the end.

Lorelei being held by her mommy. Fun times, we say.

Lorelei in her ExerSaucer. We had to include this, not simply because that thing is awesome, but because our good friend Meg gave it to us, and it's all about Meg. That, and Lorelei looks adorable when she plays in it.

Pictures of our gorgeous daughter just hanging out.

A sleepy Lorelei. The picture where we obviously woke her up shows the look on her face every night when we wake her up to nurse her one last time before Mommy goes to bed. The best part? My daughter definitely has nose crinkles.

Our baby being weird. She's enjoying doing things like putting her legs (and occasionally, an arm) through the crib slots and chewing on various parts of herself. At least she's cute. The pictures of Lorelei in boxes are courtesy of her dad the day before we moved to Ridgecrest.

A few staged pictures of Lorelei and food. Her dad isn't really trying to feed her; his fork just happened to be at that point when I took the picture. She was really holding her bottle, but not to eat. She seemed to think it was a toy.

This has to be the most photogenic six minutes of Lorelei's life. She had so many different faces and actions in these pictures, many of them just seconds apart. Sorry that there are so many all together, but the sequence is the best part (in our opinion).
